David joined Lowe Lippmann on 1 September 2004, having previously been a Partner in a top 15 London firm. He has significant corporate and personal insolvency experience in many European jurisdictions. He was one of the first Administrators to be appointed under European Union regulations allowing appointment over foreign registered companies through the UK Courts.

David’s work experience has covered a variety of industries including financial services, agriculture, construction, telecommunications and a high number of high profile bankruptcies.

David graduated from University College in Dublin in 1984 with a Bachelor of Commerce degree and a Diploma in Professional Accounting. After qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Andersens in Dublin, David transferred to the Corporate Recovery Division and developed his skills in this area. He spent significant periods on secondment in London in the early 1990’s working on major insolvencies such as the Maxwell collapse..

In 1994 David joined a leading UK specialise insolvency practice where he further developed his experience and obtained his UK Insolvency Licence in 1997.

David is married with two children. He is interested in most sports with a particular interest in rugby union, golf and fishing.
